The Emerging Storm in the SBC
Steve McCoy posts a note from Chris Seay about his intention to the go to the Southern Baptist Convention's upcoming Annual Meeting for the first time in a decade to address their concerns about the emerging church. Chris also comments that he's reached out to Al Mohler!
This is a great example of leaning into the conflict.

thats great - Chris is a superstar! hope it works out.
i will be at the Baptist World Alliance Congress this year in Birmingham UK - I was thinking about sending a similar offer but there appears to be a lot more harmony with the (non-american) emerging church and the Baptist Unions around the world that support them, so I dont know if it is necessary.
